Romans 12:2 - read it!

Remember to pick three things in your life this week where you are more comformed to this world than in Christ… and ask the Lord for strength to be transformed by the renewing of your mind in Him! Remember, obedience to Christ and His word is what brings transformation… just asking is not going to get you anywhere! DO IT!

 HA! Hey y’all, we are going to have MP3 Sunday nights this summer, but we are going to try and do all of them poolside! If any of you have a pool at your house and would like to let us use it for this, please let me know!

Scripture: Exodus 3-4; Jeremiah 29:11-13

Don’t give God excuses this week! When Moses finally just did what God had called him to do, he, with God’s strength, led all of the Israelites out of the bondage and slavery they had been in for about 400 years! God used Moses. Just a guy who was as ordinary as you and I… to save an entire nation!

 What is God calling you to do? What excuses are you giving Him? If you just surrender and do it, imagine how big God can be in and through your life!!! God has a plan for you right now! Are you in it?

3 Challenges: do ALL this week
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:33 - “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

1. Get involved in a small group and get close to others with the same Christian values; make them your closest friends
2. Think about your friends now. Do you need to back off and reconsider those friendships before God?
3. Change comes from the truth of scripture and Christ in you; read 1 Corinthians 15:33 every day and pray over your friendships.

Scripture: Matthew 4:1-4

1. Give up internet 2 days this week

2. Give up phone - cell phone 2 days this week

3. give up video games 2 days this week

*Replace the time you would spend on these with time reading the bible, praying and listening to God, worshiping God! If you do this with a right attitude toward God, He will give you new perspective on life!
